Today, we’ll be discussing some of the best quest upgrades for a Death Knight in the first few zones of Northrend, but before we do that.What makes a lot more sense isn’t that Arthas has something to do with Nozdormu’s death, but that you have something to do with it. After all, the only constant character through all of the Caverns of Time instances is you. You stop the infinites at Durnholde, you stop the infinites at the dark portal,wow gold, you stop them in stratholme. If Nozdormu is the leader of the infinite dragonflight, he isn’t trying to stop specific events from happening, he’s trying to stop you from becoming powerful enough to eventually destroy him. In any of the above scenarios, wherein Arthas fails, Illidan fails, the Alliance/New Horde fail,aion kina, your character will never enter the scene in the ways that you have.

Weapon

In the Borean Tundra, you’ll find The Axe of Frozen Death. It’s a very nice blue with the perfect stats for a Death Knight, and it’s pretty straightforward to get: Just follow the basic recruitment quest for your side in either Valiance Keep or Warsong Hold. Eventually, you’ll be sent out into the field to do a bunch of stuff, eventually ending in a group quest on either side that will get you the axe as one of your quest rewards. Alliance will get it from Last Rites, while the Horde will get it from Hellscream’s Champion, a fedex type quest you’ll get after finishing everything else Garrosh has for you to do.

Helm

In the Borean Tundra, you’ll be able to quest for the Mightstone Helm, which is a very nice Death Knight helm with plenty of our two main DPS stats, critical strike rating and strength. Alliance get it from The Hunt Is On, and Horde get it from the Trophies of Gammoth.

Shoulders

In the Borean Tundra, you have a few choices as far as shoulder armor goes. Chilled Pauldrons are completely devoid of Stamina, but do have a good amount of strength and critical strike rating. You can get them from Re-Cursive for the Alliance, or Neutralizing the Cauldrons for the Horde. Chilled Shoulderpads have a bit less strength, but a good chunk of stamina, which many levelers overlook to their own peril, and a bit more critical strike rating.

Chest

In the Howling Fjord, you can pick up the Worgblood Berserker’s Hauberk by assisting Ulfang via your faction’s questgivers at the Steel Gate, which balances a good bit of strength with a good bit of stamina. Once again, though, your better options are going to be in the Borean Tundra.

Blizzard’s next MMOG to have ‘more broad appeal’

Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick reveals the World of Warcraft developer’s upcoming massively multiplayer project will cast a wider net.

After confirming it was working on a new massively multiplayer online game in 2007, Blizzard Entertainment has divulged only a few details on the project. Today at the Deutsche Bank Securities Technology Conference in San Francisco, Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick offered another breadcrumb of information about the unnamed title–which won’t be a competitor to World of Warcraft.

When asked about the efforts behind the new Battle.net online gaming service, Kotick listed Blizzard’s upcoming slate. "What we’ve announced at Blizzard is that we have Starcraft [II] coming, Diablo has been in production…and a new, unannounced MMOG that has a little more broad appeal," said the executive.

Kotick’s talk of a more accessible MMORPG adds a bit more detail to the still very sketchy picture of Blizzard’s mystery-shrouded project. Before officially acknowledging it was in development in 2007, Blizzard said that any new massively multiplayer online game would not be a World of Warcraft clone. This February, now-ex-World of Warcraft game director Jeff Kaplan began working full time on the unnamed title, which will be a brand-new property.

Patch 3.2 is the next major content patch for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. A new 5 man dungeon and a new 10/25 man raid will be introduced at the Argent Tournament grounds, and a new battleground called The Isle of Conquest will be released. Huge World of Warcraft Patch Hits Test Servers

WoW players who were in the game prior to the launch of The Burning Crusade will no doubt remember the patch leading up to the expansion’s release, which introduced many of the game system elements that would come to define the post-Crusade game. Blizzard appears to be following that precedent with patch 3.0.2., which hit the test server today. The patch notes posted on WoW’s official site enumerate many of the incoming changes to the game in the forthcoming update, all of which will be open to players regardless of whether they purchase the Wrath of the Lich King expansion when it ships in November.

Among the biggest of additions coming in patch 3.0.2 is the Player Achievement system. Similar to the system employed by Xbox Live, WoW’s achievements will provide players with a measure of how much of the game they’ve experienced. Players will earn distinct achievements for all manner of in-game activities. Some examples include advancing their characters to a specific level, winning a specific number of consecutive Arena matches, or completing a specific number of quests. According to Blizzard, the Player Achievement system will launch with over 500 individual achievements.

The system will also launch with a special category of achievements called "Feats of Strength," which will be awarded retroactively for accomplishments performed prior to the launch of Wrath of the Lich King. On the Player Achievement preview page on WoW’s official site,buy world of warcraft gold, Blizzard states that players will "find [Feats of Strength] very difficult — if not impossible — to earn," due to some of the circumstances required for unlocking them no longer being possible in the current state of the game.

As an example, a Feat of Strength associated with achieving a certain high rank in the classic honor system is mentioned. Other Feats of Strength could involve clearing pre-expansion raid instances, acquire rare mounts, or achieving a certain reputation level with an old-world faction. Since they’re by nature prohibitively difficult for newer players to earn, Feats of Strength will not contribute toward a player’s overall achievement point score.

The Player Achievement system will have a dedicated place in the game’s UI.

Enchanting

Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon Introduction

Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon is a dank and miserable series of tunnels, filled with a variety of equally dank and miserable creatures. No one is sure just how far the caves extend, and with cave goblins known to be Mining in the area, they could prove to be far vaster than ever previously thought.
This place is not all misery and dreariness, though. Within the maze of tunnels is a place sacred to Guthix and guarded by a serpent that may be older than recorded history.
Location
Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon can be found by descending through the hole in Lumbridge Swamp. You should bring a light source with you, ideally one without a naked flame as these could cause the gas in the dungeon to explode.
It can also be accessed from Lumbridge Castle’s basement once you’ve progressed far enough through the Lost Tribe quest. You’ll need to go into the goblin caves north of the Swamp Dungeon to use a pickaxe to tunnel through a blocked hole between the two dungeons. When you’ve done this you will be able to go through the hole whenever you like.
Getting There
Use a rope with the Dark Hole to enter the caves (note you only need to use a rope with it once). If you wish to navigate the cave you will need a lightsource. The better the lightsource the more light it gives off and the less likely it will ignite the swamp gas. The swamp gas, if ignited, can explode and cause your character a lot of recurring damage which may even kill you.
Sources of Light
Candle: Candles are the worst form of light. They easily ignite the swamp gas and provide little light. You will need level 1 firemaking to light a candle.
Candle Lantern: Candle Lanterns are a step up from the basic candle. They provide a little more light and are less likely to ignite the swamp gas. Candle Lanterns require level 4 firemaking to light.
Oil Lamp: Oil lamps are an average form of the light. They are brighter than Candle Lanterns, but the open flame makes them more vulnerable to the swamp gas. Level 12 firemaking is needed to light this lamp.
Oil Lantern: Oil Lanterns are brighter than Oil Lamps and are less likely to cause an explosion. You will need level 26 firemaking to like these.
Bullseye Lantern: Bullseye Lanterns are the best type available. The light up the entire cave and very rarely, if ever, cause swamp gas explosions. 49 Firemaking is required to light these lanterns.
Points of Interest
Lumbridge Swamp Dungeon, despite being quite miserable, has a number of options open to adventurers. There are a few places to go Fishing and a good number of monsters are targets of Slayer assignments. The entry point to the Tears of Guthix quest and the Tears of Guthix minigame that follows is also located on the southern edge of the dungeon.
