Is Asmodean Still Alive? WOT Book 12 Question?
Spoiler Warning**** Do not read until after The Gathering Storm(book 12 of the WOT series)
After reading The Gathering Storm, given the idea that Graendal is the most likely candidate for the person who killed Asmodean I am wondering if he is still dead. Rand used the Choedan Kal to strike Graendal with balefire strong enough to wipe out the entire fortress. Was it also strong enough to take Graendal out of the pattern far enough back in time that Asmodean is still alive? Also is this why Jordan said that the final book would resolve the mystery, by bringing Asmodean back from the dead(which would this match the final epiphany of the book that people are meant to get second chances)?
