IMDB rating: 6.20 Plot: In a small Minnesota town, the annual beauty pageant is being covered by a TV crew. Former winner Gladys Leeman wants to make sure her daughter follows in her footsteps. Explosions, falling lights, and trailer fires prove that. As the Leemans are the richest family in town the police are pretty relaxed about it all. Despite everything, main rival (but nice) Amber Atkins won’t be stopped. There could well be more death and disappointment to come. |

Do you have to be drop dead gorgeous to be a model?
My passion is modeling but I don’t think I’ll ever meet their expectations. I’m not even close to being gorgeous!
i know, my passion is modeling too! dont worry, some models arent close to gorgeous, and others are downright hideous! (not to be insulting you or anything)
agents look for criteria in a model:
1.) does she have the ideal bone structure?
wide shoulders are preffered
2.) does she have the right facial structure?
faces have to be near-symmetrical (i.e. if one eye droops, not a big chance she’ll make it), wide-set eyes are preferred, high cheekbones, pouty lips, perfect tall nose (for sunglasses ads), even skin (dont worry; there’s something called photoshop for all that stuff)
3.) does she meet the height/weight requirements?
agents look for a girl who is super-skinny(unless she’s plus-size)
4.) does the model work well in front of the camera?
many drop-dead gorgeous wannabe models arent successful, mainly because they arent skilled at posing.
5.) and finally, the it factor.
it determines if you get picked or not. the agent looks for a calm confidence radiating from you that unfortunately, no amount of money could buy. go to wikihow.com, search up: how to have presence, and practice it. presence is the same as an it factor.
remember, your look has to be unique. an agency doesnt want 100 girls that look the same.

Nope. You just need to be the right height and weight and have potential to look good.

no, of course not! Lots of models are very unique and look different and quirkky.. .
You don’t have to be blond hair blue eyes to be a model

It’s all about the DREAM. If you know how to pose right and have tons and tons of confidence you’ll convince ANYBODY that you have what it takes.
