Am I a Lesbian/bi/too young to tell?
(I’m sorry it’s so long but I thought it would be best to put alot of info..

Ok, so I’m fourteen years old and I have never actualy had a PROPER crush on a guy before. I’ve thought I had a crush on one or two people before but I’ve realised that it’s just that I WANT to have a crush on a guy.
On the other hand, I HAVE had crushes on girls.. (I don’t know what to say to them, I giggle alot, I ALWAYS want to see them, I miss them when they’re not around and often try to get them to notice me).
I have sexual attraction to men but have emotional/romantic attraction to girls.
Ever since I was young, I’ve always felt like a boy.. I’m not sure why.. I LIKE being a girl but when I was about 9 I used to wear ’skate’ clothes and hang around with boyss. Also, when I’m around girls I feel like a boy.. In that I feel like I should protect them.
I’m never attracted to girl’s bodies I get attracted to their faces… although sometimes I fancy girls for their personalities.
When I go out, where other girls would be looking out for good looking boys, I focus on the girls and, although I do NOTICE good looking guys, I feel more of an attraction to the girls and try to impress them.
I always wanted boyfriends, and I had a thing with a couple of boys when I was younger but I’ve only ever been asked out by Gay and Bi boys. (..?) Another thing is that ALL the boys I have EVER been around have been immature/snobby/OVERsexual.
When I’ve watched films like.. ‘Mr.&Mrs.Smith’ I always noticed angelina more than brad.
All my friends and family think I’m completely Hetrosexual and when I was having a conversation with my step-mum yesterday, She said it was obvioous that I was 100% straight.
I’ve always told everyone I’m straight, but lately I’ve been thinking and I’ve figured that I have alot of signs to say that I’m a lesbian..
Could this just be a phase?
Could it be that I have just not found a guy that I like enough yet..
OR is it just that.. I’m a lesbian…

i think for now, you probably bi-curious, since you find girls attractive,
as well as guys
cuz i’m alot like you. for some reason around guys i feel more sexual attractive and my voice gets all girly and stuff, but around girls i tend to notice my voice gets deeper, and i do feel like a protector like i just wanna be there for them emotionally and stuff and take things slow.
idk. ppl think im straight too…but secretly im attracted to both sexes.
i consider myself bi though, even though at times i do feel like a lesbian and at some tines i try to tell myself im straight (since all of my friends think so..except the gay ones…lol)
but yeah…idk…and im 16. but i had crushes on girls in elementry. hell, i even kissed a girl when i was 7.
im just confused…and when you get an answer, hopefully i will too…

Hmm, you just sound a little confused to me at the moment, don’t worry, it’ll become clear to you as you age.

You are you, and that’s all there is to it. I guess the answer from your list I’d say is closest to what I’m saying is "too young to tell," but a better answer is "too unsure to tell." You don’t have to label yourself at all in life if you don’t want to, and I would highly suggest you not label yourself until you are more secure in your thoughts regarding yourself.

Well here is the thing great great info you put up there it really helps me and others reply wiht a good answer. For starters I would say that this is a phase but only if you have just begun to have these feelings for girls, I’d say for more than a year? If so, you are most likely leaning towards the gay side more. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that either. Also you are probably thinking what does she mean by leaning? Well what I mean is that there isn’t just a line that divides gays from straights. Sometimes most people are either just straight or just gay, but other times people can be more straight then gay and sometimes they are more gay then straight, make sense? So I’d say give yourself a few years before you jump into it with a girl, and I promise you that you will figure it out on your own.

Honestly the only one who can figure out if your gay or not is yourself. I know it’s not really a helpful answer but it’s the truth. Your mom won’t know and niether will your friends. It will take time to figure out but it eventually will. The only thing I can really tell you is not to label just yet because it will only make things a lot more complitcated. Just go with the flow and feel what you feel.
